You make some good points, but we are 8 games into the season ( 3, yes 3 points off the top four) and yet i see/hear some fans chomping at the bit to replace him. Far too early ( imo) and some fans need to get a grip if that is what they think should happen.

And three of games have been away at three of the more difficult grounds to visit.
By the end of the month we will have been to the etihad, the Emirates, Leicester and anfield. Tough start.

This is the crux of the issue.

Do we say yep, it’s only 8 games in or it’s actually been 8/9 months of this.

Anyway this isn’t the thread for it!

Still not a peep on his Facebook page since before the Bayern game.

And Ive seen no comment from him at all anywhere else. Conspicuously quiet, IMO.
Some of the players do keep quiet on social media for some time after an embarrassing defeat, its happened many times before. And pretty pointless him posting something after each poor performance, the 'We will keep working' etc messages lose their meaning if you're doing it every week. Sometimes we look for things that arent there, especially if its social media activity...

Kane is generally quite active on his Facebook page. General posts as well as pre/post game stuff. It is unusual for him to be so quiet. Not even mentioned anything about the upcoming international.

Im not getting hysterical about it, or anything like that - just noting its unusual for him to be so quiet.

Of all our players thus is the one I'd most surprised at and disappointed in if he has downed tools and turn on the manager.

What has he got to complain about, highest paid player, first choice, never dropped, highest profile.
Obviously its a not a simple case but also look at the personal awards he's won under poch, golden boots galore.

If I were Kane, in my peak years, Id complain about the way Im being used. And Id complain about not winning anything.

It looks to me all indications are that Harry wants all the playing time he can get.
I don't buy the not winning thing from any of them.
If you need motivation (which seems to be thing being thrown around now) to go into a CL final and win you can fudge right off. And the truth of the matter is some of them weren't mentally strong enough for it.

Im not obsessed with winning, as many fans seem to be.

However, as a player, at the level he is at - I can well imagine it is something he wants/needs/deserves/is on his mind.

What if that CL was the nadir? How many semis/finals before you start to lose faith. Especially when youre the best player in the team.

Its true, some werent up to the challenge. Its also true - plenty have accused Poch of that too. What if Kane feels the same?

Its purely speculation. I dont know a damn thing. All I do know is Kane is regularly active on his Facebook page, and his silence since before Bayern has been deafening. Particularly as with Lloris out he is the defacto captain. As well as the England captain with an international pending...

I think the issue is when things get tough in a club, there is almost no case where the players turn it around.

I've seen quite a few interviews with ex players where one of things they comment on is never giving the players an excuse (unsettled, not enough pre-season, injuries, etc.), because the message is it's not your fault and instead of them fixing it, they are waiting for someone else to fix it. I don't any of the players are anti-Poch, but I think very few if any are giving their all for him.

But back to the thread, let people vent, as long as it isn't OTT isn't that the point of the forum?

Yeah I realise this was veering OT.

All the virtue signalling can do one. Particularly when the discourse on here is hardly rabid or hysterical.

People have different views and are discussing them. If you cant do that at a time like this, then whats the point of a forum....

Harry is the key to all this, been saying that since start. Just as I was saying his silence is deafening on Saturday.
If there's a split in the dressing room, and I think there is, my gut instinct will be to side with Harry.

In the wider scheme of things there's three things I want to know.
1. The dressing room talk at half team when Harry did/didn't do a rallying cry. What was said?
2. What is the opinion of the rest of the team when the want aways get picked before they do, especially when they aren't performing.
3. Has poch explained in depth to the team what his plan is for the squad as it stands.
