Christian Eriksen

Moura laid it off to Ndombele, who curled it inside the far post.

It's okay...let me

Eriksen hooked the ball back into the middle and Sissoko saw a volley excellently saved by Heaton. Kane recovered the rebound and hooked it back to Lucas who teed up Ndombele to finish superbly from range.

The ungainly one played his part. Yes he bricks himself when he's in the final third and should have done better (as should have Moura, Kane and others). Sissoko contributes to the team and is imposing in midfield (if not in the final third).

Sure it wasn't Rose? Or KWP?

Yeah
It was SancheZ

I didn't think Sissoko got a shot on target (as posted in the Sissoko thread) but then read it. Still he was heavily involved in the game. His composure in front of goal is not there but he's still part of the side and contributes a lot. Time is running out at 30 years old, but if he could find his mojo in front of goal he'd be a complete midfielder. Just ask Scara.

Of course he did, hard to believe that there a few fans who thought he did not. Without him we have no one who can see a opening and can get the ball into it quickly.
Really, so all the chances we squandered and the three we scored were he had no direct impact were all just flukes?

Been around the houses a couple of times about this and we see it different ( all about opinions) :)
What i will say it that fans must be blind if they can not see that we looked a far more dangerous, clinical, created team once he came on.

Im not in anyway denying that, he looked great, the Eriksen of two seasons.
But some of the stuff here about him is becoming embarrassing now, quotes like he has no weaknesses, he's the only one that can create a chance, someone yesterday actually hoped a player would get injured so we had to keep him.
None of his is his fault and as I keep saying I have no issue with him.

Well stuff on a football forum can go from the subline to the crazy ( we can both agree on that) but lets be honest he Did change the game, he is the most creative player in the Prem ( according to the assists table) and of course he has faults in his game, but in over 50 years of watching players i have never seen ONE that does not have faults.

And i do accept that your opinions on him are balanced compered to some i have read here and elsewhere since he suggested/said/hinted he MAY leave. :D

It broke my heart when ghod left and I swore I'd never get that involved with a player again.
But if some one like ghod can leave then anyone can, we should be able to accept that.
Eriksen has handled it badly, but only for himself, he has always said he had a career path mapped out so we can't complain. I always hoped he'd have a change of heart, but if he goes he goes with my blessing and thanks, and regrets.
There's some I've been furious at about leaving, but not Eriksen.
My only concern about him staying was commitment, but yesterday put that to bed for.
