Jack Clarke

So he can work with Poch, learn from Son and Moura. and settle in London

Working with Poch does not guarantee his development. Kane and Alli both developed through lower league teams. We have youngsters older than Clarke who have been working with the first team that may not even make it at this club. Poch is a good coach but the development of a young player is much more than the ability of 1 coach.

But we need Leeds to turn into a disaster zone. He could do all that at QPR instead (and still live in London and train once a week with Poch).

Why? It is surely beneficial to us to have a manager who Poch is close to there.

The pressure and competition at Leeds is higher. I also seriously doubt that Championship clubs would let first team players train with Spurs one day a week.

I doubt ANY team would let a first team squad player train with another team one day a week. But the thought of that youngster with his pudding bowl haircut wheeling a small suitcase onto the train from Leeds with a stack of biscuits a can of Lilt and a copy of Viz Magazine makes me smile.

Hopefully Poch had guarantees from Bielsa on his play time this season. Really interested to see how he develops.

He played for both their academy and first team last season. One of the reasons why so many of his appearances were from the bench, is that he'd played for the academy a couple of days before.

A season in the first team and fighting for a starting position would be really positive.

The centre forward bit is interesting.

I wonder if him going back to Leeds this season (a condition set by Leeds for getting the deal over the line?) is linked to Llorente potentially being given a new 1 year deal?

Llorente won't be getting a one year deal.

I can't remember where I heard or read it but someone likened Clark to Sterling and suggested that he could end up playing a similar position.

Depending how tall he ends up, he might become a Timo Werner or Anthony Martial

Think that was the idea with our rumoured interest in David Brooks a year ago.
