Fixture & Ticket News 2019/20

So now the Wheel of Death stands between us and 3 games at a time...hard to say what it will be like until it happens, but sounds stressful.

Not great for people who can't pay for multiple tickets at once though.

There will now be just seven on-sale windows throughout the season in which tickets to two or three matches will be put on sale at one time. This is a change to previous seasons when we have had 19 individual on-sale dates. All matches will continue to be sold individually and NOT as packages.

We are also well aware that many supporters are frustrated with the current online queuing system and our ticketing partner, Ticketmaster, plans to have improvements in place later this year. We are working closely with them to bring these improvements in as early as possible.



What are peoples thoughts on this?? Seems a pretty poor way of doing it to me. If you miss the Window, its now 3 games you will miss out on.

Sounds like a complete no-no if your booking for a group. Getting family and friends to agree on one game at a time is hellish enough already.
 
Ticket Exchange

Ticket Exchange will be open for Season Ticket Holders to list their seats for resale for ANY home Premier League fixture later this month.

Seats which are listed for resale by Season Ticket Holders will then be made available to One Hotspur Members ahead of each fixture date. Season Ticket Holders will be able to ‘de-list’ their seat at a later date if they no longer wish to sell their seat – as long as the seat has not already been purchased by another supporter.

Sales via our Ticket Exchange platform will continue to open at the Club’s discretion and once the Members’ sales dates have passed. Updates on when Members are able to purchase via Ticket Exchange for each fixture will be communicated via Club channels.

The Club will monitor availability on Ticket Exchange for all matches and reserve the right to open up sales to non-members for selected fixtures throughout the season.
 
I assumed they did this as a way of getting people to commit to games they may well not be able to attend, the club knowing they can then rape a bit more money out of us via the Ticket Exchange??

Indeed.

Also means that on a few occasions the On-Sale Date for certain matches are BEFORE the TV picks have been announced for that particular weekend. Not well planned, then again when has that ever mattered...

Exactly, there is no way tickets should go on sale before the actual date and time is known.
If they can't sort out a queuing system, just open more windows for a single game, based on loyalty points. Even if it meant 2 or 3 windows per day.
Hell, you could have a new window every 3 hours, 4 a day.
 
I do think the exchange being open for all games straight from the off is a good idea though, and tbh I think attending most games via that route should be pretty easy this season.

Especially if you want to avoid any 'wheel of doom' stress.

I 'm clearly missing the benefit of this, apart from ease for ST holders? It's open all season for listing, but not for buying. I think it is still subject to a game being sold out first (which will probably happen anyway).
So later this month I will able to list for example my seat for Man Utd in March, knowing I will be away on that date. But it won't be available for sale to members until after the sales window for the match has closed.
If I am understanding it correctly.
And in any case I'd have thought most ST holders would be more likely to wait until nearer the time and see if anyone they know wants the ticket and use the Share facility instead.

And I agree the new system for members buying tickets is bizarre. Introduced without any consultation it would seem and likely to cause more issues than any it solves.
 
So it all begins again for us old and new members today..........anything to speed up the process any new system inplace ...ah...........................no........first thing can't find alink to log on..... then when you find it after logging in whats that i see infront of me........the circle of doom to welcome me back...........feck sake what do they do in the ticket office.....premiership club offering two bit service...

Ah, but they have a new and improved system, you know. Instead of releasing tickets for one game at the time, they now start selling tickets for three games at the same time, just to make sure even more people log on and put even more pressure on the system.

I'm on the wheel of death too.

Yep, the battle continues and the struggle is as real as ever. I launched the ticketing site about 9.15, wheel has been moving well but now stuck as usual with about 10mins to go until release time.

And there was me thinking we might get a shiny new interface to at least try and support this wonderful new "streamlined system"!!
 
Looks like only two of us are trying today......why its so crap im clicking on an Inter link then getting information on the NFLgames in October.....what the feck....

Four different browers, started at different times, all stuck at 10 to now.
