The ITK of IDK
If we're in for an AM, might as well go for this guy. He's 20 years old and could be eased into the team, if he decides that not getting tons of playing time, but working under Poch is good for his progression.

All reports I have heard put him as the best young German around and likely to cost around 100eur

Apparently on path to Munich in the next year.

Not my opinions but one I have heard a few times.

Isn't every German player on a path to Bayern. That doesn't mean we can't get a deal done. If we sell Eriksen, I would rather we go after Havertz instead of Lo Celso. And Havertz probably would be on lowish wages too, so higher fee might be more palatable.

Was more a comment on the fee (I would prefer him too)

He is the perfect Eriksen replacement

I saw him play 4/5 games last season and part form the fact he is very one footed he is brilliant and gonna get better and better

He would costs circa £50M Imo judging by the fees in Germany and I don’t get why he is destined for Bayern next season (not now if they really want him)

Was obvious in February that this kid is the next big thing. Sadly no chance of getting him.
That's the thing, though, we should go after him. Get one of the premier talents, even if it means spending £80-90m. His value is only going to go up and he'll probably help us win a few things in the interim. Plus he'll be on reasonable wages too.

If we sell Eriksen, Havertz is the one we should replace him with. Will cost us a net £30-40m, but we'll save another £10m or so in wages, so net £20-30m, which is a very good investment for someone that's 7 years younger and will make us back that amount easily were we to sell him down the line.

Lol.

Leverkusen let Brandt go this summer, there's no way they will lose Havertz as well. As well as that, it seems that the young German's prefer to stay in Germany and Bayern have been very interested. It wouldn't suprise me if he stays a year and goes to Bayern the next.

Brandt went to Dortmund?! Bugger. Should have been all over that too.

I think you're right. He's developing well where he is with plenty of challenges coming up, wait it out like De Ligt and the biggest clubs could come running with the biggest money.

I've read some not so flattering things about his work rate, might change at Dortmund. But it could also be that he wanted to stay in Germany, like Cochise pointed out.

For whatever reasons we've targeted other players it seems, I'm quite happy with our reported targets.
