Tanguy Ndombele

He looks like Sissoko would look if Sissoko could play football. Take a look at the two xG figures shown on the chart below - shows that what Ndombele does with the ball is of use. I won't comment on what it says about Sissoko.

What about when Sissoko was at Toulouse, also in Ligue 1, I thought you only compare players' best seasons?

Sure you have all seen those Youtube compilations of him playing in the farmers league

Here he bossing City and Barcelona

I like the fact that he's always trying to push the ball forward, rather than play backwards or sideways.

Guys, I think we may have bought ourselves the top midfielder in the world in 1-2 years time.

Oh GHod, this graphic again. We'll be comparing Sissoko to de Gea and this graphic will still be posted as evidence why Sissoko isn't as good. o_O

Hey, I was trying to play nice here! But my point still stands - they look like they fill the same role, just that one is a tiny, tiny amount better at it than the other. So we probably won't see them together much. Also remember that stats don't show everything, N'Dombele never had to face the likes of Stoke on a rainy Wednesday night.
