New Kit?

Thank fudge they got rid of that blue whatever-that-was at the bottom of the shirt. Made our European all-white kit look weird and with the blue shorts made the players look like they had the body proportions of an ostrich.
Lucky Crouchie isn’t still playing for us!

Why are we always so slow to release our kit, I remember we always used to play the last game in next seasons kit now we don't even see it until July.

I don’t know why they don’t release it earlier, with people spending less on footy over the summer I’d say they’d sell more this way, they could discount the old one towards the end of the season when I’d expect people would be more tempted to buy them whilst they are still being worn by the team too. Maybe I’m thinking too much about domestic demand rather than globally.

No idea when the hot spots are, Christmas obviously and probably the start of the season when the media hype gathers pace but I'd say from April onwards people probably stop buying them thinking they'll wait till next season unless we get to something like the CL final and people want the European kit.

I don't get why any designer would add a button to a shirt.

You're right of course. Superfluous.....

I think it is all part of Nike's attempt to be "retro" with third kits this coming season...I suspect you will see several others with that weird button collar thing which makes me think of Coventry and that animal Kilcline for some reason!
