Michel Vorm

I was never completely convinced, but 2nd GK is the hardest spot in the squad to fill. Hopefully he goes on and has a couple of 40 game seasons and finds his Swansea form again.

I hope we promote Whiteman too, rather than buying in a new 3rd GK.

To be honest, his most important job was stopping Lloris getting bored during training, so I guess that went well seeing as they've been working together 5 years.

He was a decent understudy for most of his time with us. Gazzaniga has clearly eclipsed him this season and he's been little more than a cheerleader since but it looks like he's been a popular member of the squad. Let's hope that he goes somewhere where he can play a bit before he retires.

I wonder whether he regrets leaving Swansea, or regrets joining us. Granted he probably made a few quid but he’s spent 5 of his prime years playing bugger all football

I always wondered this. He played 30 games for Swansea in his last season there and picked up 5 Dutch caps to come to us - maybe the money, London and the relatively less pressure and scrutiny of being a number 2 was the appeal. Interested to see if he goes on to be a number 1 at a lower level somewhere else.
