Danny Rose

So I was thinking the other day, when Danny Rose came out and went in hard on the club he became a poster boy for the negative fans, many saying "he is talking facts" now he has u turned and said CL runs are more important than winning league cups its not got the same traction....

Really not sure what it is people get so excited about with him.

He is a good defender, really poor in attack, and thats about it. While I like his attitude/aggression in game I dont think we would particularly miss him were he to leave.

I rate plenty of players.

Its not like Im saying Rose isnt a good player either, rather I just dont see why they hype. More often than not I watch him and think there is a lot of room for improvement, especially when attacking.

More importantly, who does @nayimfromthehalfwayline actually rate?

Seems like he thinks many of our players are over-hyped.

I was expecting him to say Sessegnon. But he's not really a FB - so people say. Rose can drive into midfield, passes well, gets up and down, but like the rest of our team is not always composed in the final third.

From Nayim's perspective it must be ironic that this side with Sissoko and Rose got to the CL final and finished above far richer competitors in the league.

I actually think Davies is a better LB, Rose seems to impress some folks because he shows aggression but he is not all that good as a player.
