There a few now for me who are definite ship outs:

Dier
Wanyama
Lamela (I’m particularly sad to say)
I’d take any sort of decent money for Eriksen

Obviously Janssen and Llorente

Trippier is hanging by a thread but I’d give him next season, although would like us to buy a young RB.

Midfield is the main area for an upgrade for me, although I do think we now need someone to put serious pressure on Harry now.

Gutted. My little lad is heartbroken. But the amount of Spurs fans outside the ground who stopped to cheer him up was amazing. At least 6-10 people, gutted themselves, stopped and told him we’d be back.

One fella made a particularly huge effort and said “Son, you look around there at that stadium. This is the start of something special. We’ll be back and you’ll see it.”

If he's here, and if he's backed, I expect nothing less.

This team performed miracles to get here, but the fact that they did proves how fragile it is at a fundamental level.

It's another reason why I don't buy the horsecrap that these players didn't try. They did, because for more than a few, this will be their last game in a Spurs shirt. For varying reasons - some will leave to seek a better contract, and some are just not good enough at this level, and never were. This was their last chance to win this.

So they tried, whatever their faults. But reconstruction will claim many of them anyway.

Thing is tho. People are getting this wrong. They weren’t bad. They were effective defensively (Mourinho style) after going a goal up so early. They didn’t need to do anything else.

I felt we could have gambled a bit earlier. Nothing was happening through Kane. We should have gone x2 up there to ask questions. When we did eventually go Llorente we creates some openings by going direct.

Fair point on us giving them something and making it easy to defend.

But they defended awfully, the number of turnovers were insane, I like to think that had we been in that position that they wouldn’t have seen the ball again.
