Danny Rose

Interesting seeing him state that he is likely to be off in the summer and I know we were probably looking to sell last year, but for me he is one of our leaders now and I would keep him as the senior full back amongst a quartet going into next season, along with sessegnon, wan bissaka and kwp.

Can help them all develop, whilst rose himself is showing signs of his best again.

Those were comments meant in jest

Also sounds like we were ready to sell him.

I wouldn't be surprised

- Danny can do a job still, but he isn't the player who partnered Walker for that season and a half.

I believe Poch needs a heavy emphasis on younger players and this squad has gotten older in the last 5 years, I expect a few changes

I think the latter part of the season showed Rose is now first choice again. Hope he stays, signs a new contract with a release clause which stipulates he cannot play central midfield ever and if he does he can leave for free.

And every time he says something stupid to the press, we get to take a month's wages.

He's doing a big interview on talksport today(Friday 17th) at 4pm,he's the main guest ,its not with with that ginger tosser Durham someone else.

Be in the papers tomorrow if he says something a bit controversial.

I personally love Danny Rose "no filter" approach. It might not always be in the clubs interests, but I don't think he's said or done anything that wasn't really true or harmful to the club. In a world where footballers don't really show any personality but instead are "brands" its refreshing to get a real response from a very real and flawed (like all of us) person. Genuinely he is one of my favourite players for this reason alone. He's a real guy, love that instead of celebrating knocking out Ajax, one of his first thoughts were f*** you Ruud Gullit. That kind of spitefulness I can definitely get behind. And he gives a sh*t. Long live Danny Rose.

He does a good job for us and should be respected for it, if he does have problems he needs help and support from the club and the fans not snide comments, far to many people have problems with the the modern world no matter what their position or financial status.
Why are people repeatedly conflating issues?

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever that we can't respect him for the job he does on the pitch, have sympathy for the condition he has claimed to have and also think that much of what he says makes him a prick. Those are three entirely separate issues and you don't have to feel the same way about him for all of them.
