Champions League Final plans for us stay at home fans.

I have 2 options:

chase a ticket to Madrid, have a few possibilities, but going on my own, long journey and no hotel etc
Go to WHL viewing with 18 of mates all ST holders who havent got points and cant afford to go anyway, and then smash up london IF we win.

Completely torn, if its more important to be there, or to be with all my mates and celebrate together

One of his friends has been to a couple of games and lasted the full match though so it can be done.

My soon to be 6 year old will watch 90 mins at home and has been to England Croatia at Wembley and the Legends game. He is footy obsessed though, as he can't seem to do a meal out or a car journey without a phone to play games on! I think the game itself will be ok, if you are catching a train home that will be the bit that will be a struggle, especially at that time of night with the queue to get on at WHL or the long walk down to Seven Sisters.
 
Ditching the wife for our 6th anniversary and going to the local Spurs pub in Oslo. If I can get there early enough to get in, that is. Otherwise fudge knows where I'll end up, but hopefully somewhere without Liverpool fans.
 
Watching it at home with my family we can share the joy or despair, big night for my youngest grandkids as they have never seen us win anything.
 
First and foremost, I will be keeping company with my beloved 26-year-old son that weekend, who represents my greatest failing as a parent.

His initials are TH. He supports MU.

We already planned to spend a long weekend repairing a flood-damaged boathouse at our lakeside cottage north of Toronto, get in a quick nine holes of golf and now hope to find a good internet feed to watch the game in the near-north wilderness. CL football is only available here on the horrible DAZN streaming service. When the quality of delivery overcomes its frequent issues, the match-day production around the game is consistently crap, little more than hipster pub chat.

Truly, first world problems.

There's some neighbours with far more posh woodland cabins than ours. Should one agree to host our viewing party, we'll share our enthusiastic appreciation for Spanish red wines and the willingness to provide - and cook properly - quality steaks or steelhead trout for the barbecue, hand cut French fries (chips) and Caesar salad. To say nothing of bringing along a swack of great Spurs highlights video compilations from past years - "...and STILL RICKY VEEL-YAH!..." - for pre-match entertainment.

And should we be graced with a great triumph, a cool vintage Glastron speedboat - in club colours - to tearass around the lake waving Spurs scarves from.

Still remember that so fondly.

I’m in a similar position, I can get to Madrid without too much hassle and can just sleep in the car. However all my Spurs mates will be staying in the UK, so a bit torn what to do.

Spoke to some Manc mates, one was in the same position, but also didnt have a lot of money at the time, so didnt go to 99 final, and stayed back with mates
Said he went to Moscow and it was amazing, but nothing would have made up for missing 99

That pushed me over the edge, See you in Madrid :)

Could he get / did he have tickets for the games?

I’m 99% sure I won’t be able to get a ticket for the match. So I’ll basically be heading to Madrid on my own to watch it in a bar with other Spurs fans who’ve done the same. Whereas I could go back to UK and go out with my mates and watch it with them.

If I had a ticket for the game it would be a no brainer!

Without a ticket, go with your mates - plus you can go and watch the Parade on the Sunday - IF IF IF we win (must not anger football gods)
 
I live in the Cheshire villages. Fully anticipating 'friends' will be throwing their normal party type thing for this. However, as you might expect support will not be for Spurs. My wife has already warned them the boys and I will be in a corner on our own.
