Can't shake the feeling it would have been all the same if we'd needed the win today for 4th instead of 3rd. Completely shat the bed second half. Some of them must know they're off; it always annoys me watching a half-hearted shift, though, whatever the circumstances.

Who cares. Seasons over now.

;-)

Meh... Eriksen set piece goal, Lamela looking decent, hopefully no injury to Alli...

Four consecutive top four finishes, CL football at our Pepsi Max, live life on the edge, Bowl next season. That is a tremendous achievement by the players, Pochettino, the coaching staff and Levy. Even if the league season finished with a whimper.

On to the big one.

I must have been at an other game I thought Lamela was terrible, his passing and decision making were poor and seeing a professional footballer who cannot or refuses to use his weaker foot is not good enough for where we want to be, even his charging about was lacking. It was certainly the best I've seen Llorente play in the first half, this display only proved we cannot win games easily with 5 or 6 first choices missing, then I don't think there are any others in the league who could play well without the likes of Vertonghen, Rose, Winks, Kane, Son and Dele.

Let’s not forget that we only got fourth becuase three other clubs had a total meltdown too. Yes, we’ve had a very good cup run and yes, it happens to be in the most exciting and prestigious cup competition possible.

But other than that, we’ve been brick for a good couple of months, and it’s difficult to believe that a good rest for everyone involved is going to be a panacea.

We got 4th because we are easily the 4th best team in the League.
We got 71 points in the league ffs.
We have only got more points that that 3 times since they changed to a 20 team league.
We got more points that the Leicester title race season ffs.
Some of you are miserable bastards

The idea that we have been brick for months is ridiculous.
We have had a bad 30 minutes here and there but thats about it.

That’s nice. Presumably jelly and ice cream are luxuries undreamed of up there, so little prospect of an extra verse.

It we class had a good time with the Everton fans today ... they were singing come on yours and many of our songs when they were out of the stadium.

One upside though in the way its finished is that its made it abundantly clear the work which needs doing to the squad and how Poch has got us operating to about 150% our level.

The core of the team is strong, but my GHod to we flog them to death. Need I think 4 incomings this summer, and then some of those which are struggling moved on. GOing to be somewhat challenged by the homegrown rules, but glad the league season is over now. Time for Levy to get to work

Anonymous game for everyone wasn't it? Hard to call a stand out performer. Davies? Eriksen? Dele? No one stood out. Decent enough performance, but no one really stood out for me.

Alli should have scored, Lamela has been great

You need to be careful about the word “great” mate.

Three weeks to get everyone fit for the final. Poch has a big decision as to who he plays in the attacking positions. Personally I would be inclined to line up like this:

Lloris

Aurier/Dier Toby Verts Rose

Winks (if available) Sissoko

Moura Eriksen Son

Kane

Leave off.

Leave off.

I don’t think anyone had a “great” game. I’d say Sissoko was MOM. The players must be knackered and it showed. But to say Lamela was “great” is over egging it to say the least.

Anyway on to the final. If we win the champions league football would be complete for me. One title and and one CL before I die would be incredible but I’d take just one of them.

This is it for me too. Just one moment in 50/60 years, not asking a lot is it?
