Transfer Tittle-Tattle

Personally I would get rid of wanamya and Dier. Sissoko has a place at spurs. My player of the season, amazing central midfielder and oddly I also think our best right back.

I dont think you can get rid of both of them. Sell Wanyama and end up with these 5:

Dier
Sissoko
Winks
Ndombele
Gomes

Would give us a good variety of options, allow Dier to play at CB when needed, could mean we could go 4-3-3 without having to move Eriksen and Dele out of their best positions

I don’t get the rush to sell Dier? He’s happy at the club and seems aware he will be rotated a lot.

That’s before even mentioning he’s a good player.

Wanyama is finished, which is gutting

Bet it takes us til August to get our first deal done!!

Imagine if you will a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call ... The Levy Zone.

Gomes looks pretty basic from what I've seen of him this season not really the type of player to move us up a level.

Hopefully the Ndombele stuff is true, him and Tielmens please

One of those who IMO is quite "quiet" or understated on the field, a bit like Carrick in being easy to overlook even if he is doing quality work.

Very tidy, has an eye for a pass, very competent player. Without pulling up any trees or blowing the league away.

I dont think he has been incredible, I do think he has been decent.

I also think he has that element of "Has the potential to be REALLY good" that makes him an enticing buy.

Especially as he will cost just shy of £26m. An absolute bargain in todays market.

Gomes was meant to be Iniesta's replacement at Barcelona but never got played in his right position which is on the left of a midfield three.

I don’t think Tielemans is necessarily better. He has just begun in the league and has an added boost of a new manager and upsurge at his club. Gomes started the season really well. Then dipped, now is getting his form back. I’d be happy with either.

Can also look at it as Gomes having done his acclimating elsewhere.

Now he knows what a rainy midweek fixture is like, what no winter break is like, what the pace of the league is like etc.

Also, Silva likes to play a style not entirely disimilar to Poch, at least in that its a relatively high press, high energy sort of formation.

Could be that basically Everton have broken him in for us and next season he will be a lot better...
