OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax - the second leg

It really does make interesting reading.

Match Day 4. 2 minutes plus added time from being knocked out. Kane scores the winner
Match Day 5. 10 minutes plus added time from going out Eriksen scores the winner
Match Day 6. 5 minues plus added time from going out. Moura grabs an equaliser

Quarter-final. We were out and VAR correctly reinstated us
And last, only one person knows how many seconds we were from elimination

As somebody posted somewhere. Five times we have reached the exit door, only to turn round and kick the f#cker shut.

Is it finally our turn? Or is somebody up there just teasing us.

Fifty years of Spurs. All I have ever wanted was to see us win one league title or European Cup before I pop my clogs.

Somebody up there, have a heart, Liverpool have had the pleasure 5 times already, not asking much for us to have one night ourselves is it?

Do you think they will open the stadium and show the final on the big screens?

Surely a no-brainer. Liverpool did and this stadium is perfect for such an event with the big screens and the food and drink outlets. So unless the police or council block it.

Champions League: Tottenham Hotspur could show final in new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur are considering opening their new stadium for a screening of the Champions League final against Liverpool next month.

Both clubs have been given only 16,000 tickets for the first all-English final for 11 years at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, leading them to explore options for making the occasion a memorable one for the rest of their fanbase.

Spurs are understood to have held internal talks this morning in the aftermath of their remarkable 3-2 win over Ajax about the possibility of hosting an event for fans at their new stadium.

The 62,000-capacity ground possesses the biggest LED screens in Europe so it would be an attractive proposition for supporters unable to get a ticket for Madrid, with two 325 square metre screens in the South Stand and two 190.7 square metre screens in the North Stand, both supported by a state-of-the-art sound system.

Spurs are expected to make a decision later this week and confirm any ticketing arrangements after holding talks with Haringey Council and the Metropolitan Police, whose support would be required to stage such an event.

With an 8pm kick-off on Saturday June 1 a screening could also be lucrative for the club due to the prospect of high food and drink sales and merchandising revenue, although Tottenham’s primary concern is ensuring that the club’s first Champions League final is accessible for as many of their fans as possible.

And let's not forget a massive thanks to PSV. No reason to try their hearts out against Inter...they get their just reward...they knew we were the only team capable of knocking out Ajax.

On the other hand ...

Match Day 1. 3 minutes plus added time from famous win in Milan. Concede two late goals.
Match Day 3. 2 minutes plus added time from second away win. Concede equaliser.

We made the group stage harder than it should have been. But we turned it around and started scoring late goals rather than conceding them, which I think we can all agree is more fun.

Eriksen dances like my Grand dad.
Au contraire he dances like John Travolta
