If you could sign one Ajax player....

if you could sign one Ajax player for Spurs, who would it be and why?

  • Total voters
    48
I thought Van Der Beek was missing all this second leg. He looks to much like a hit and miss player. De Light though, he is a frame, good reader of the ball and great in the air. he would be an immense buy. But if they charged us 44m for Sanchez they are going to want Van Dijk money for him.

I can't believe Ziyech only has 4 votes including mine. I thought he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, fantastic player and seems to be have that spikeyness that is required to be successful in the PL. Just imagine if we could replace Lamela with him in our squad. We would immediately be far, far better.

Thread title needs to be changed to....

If one Ajax player could somehow get into our team, who would we consider signing?

De Ligt
De Jong
Ziyech
De Beek
Neres

Are all powerhouses in that team. I'd have any and all of them if we could.

The two De especially will be (and arguably already are) superstars.

Hats off to an incredible team.

Didn't realise Ziyech was approaching 27. Thought he was part of the young gun phalanx, think I'd prefer Neres over him then.

They have perfected their academy and coaching system. Best in the world.

De Ligt for me too. A born leader of men is what I see besides the footballing ability.

Without a doubt and it has been that way since Cruyff first started the process.

As for what player i would sign it would be De Beek

Ziyech for me. I thought he fit the profile of character we were looking for two years ago.

De Ligt is a close second.
