Been reported in lots of different places, in his mid 70's the fella deserves to retire.

My favourite jack role would have to be easy rider, used to be on t.v. repeated a lot when i was growing up and i always wanted to be his character. Not shown so much these days. Really with an actor like him, a t.v. channel could dedicate a week or two to his movies. Was top notch in an officer and a gentleman.

Whats your favourite Nicholson movie then ladies?

Going to state the obvious, but "One flew over the cuckoos's nest". RP McMurphy, brilliant.

"As good as it gets" was superb as well. Melvin Udall.

"A Few Good Men", Colonel Jessop. You can't handle the truth!

When I did the Walk of Fame thing in Hollywood, his was the hand print I made sure I got the photo with.

Was absolutely wasted in Batman, what was the script writer thinking? Definite oscar opportunity if he had been given the material.

The Shinning, The Departed..

He's a genius, will miss him.

Happy retirement!

All great films Nelto.

I can't remember what it's called but I watched that film recently where he has a heart attack (with Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves in it). Surprisingly good.

That was "Something's Gotta Give".

Good show as well.

1. As Good As It Gets

2. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

3. The Shining

4. The Departed

5. Batman

Also love The Bucket List and Anger Management.

One of my favourites along with De Niro, Clint Eastwood and William Holden.

Must have knobbed a heeeeelllllllll of a lot of women in his life.

The Shining
...Cuckoo's Nest

The Shining is one of the greatest films ever, ...Cuckoos Nest is one of his finest moments ever...

The Shining for me, and he absolutely scared the **** out of me in batman, I was 8 years old and had nightmares for weeks.

My favourite actor ever. One of those like Daniel Day Lewis or Pacino who ypu can just watch for them. The plot of the film is a little irrelevant. The Shining, the Departed, About Schmidt, Chinatown. Those are all 8 or 9 out of films for me. Chinatown's my favourite film ever.
