Champions League 2018/19

My Ajax friends are desperate for a trip to London again ... and i would love to go back to the ziggo dome

Don't usually watch football other spurs, but the semi finals are looking really tasty whoever goes through.
Barca vs spurs, City or ajax final could be a classic.
Messi is mesmerising and looks like he wants another CL medal.

Can't see it, the pressure will get to Liverpool.
Unless someone can stop Messi I don't think the CL is anywhere but barca bound.
I thought they looked appalling at OT, they got away with it because Utd are so poor. They’d be 2 or 3 goals behind if they played like that at Anfield.

Looking forward to playing Ajax, Liverpool or Barca in the next round.

Could you imagine this ever happening in the prem?!

Ajax get Champions League boost as Eredivisie games postponed
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Ajax Amsterdam’s Champions League hopes got a boost on Thursday when the Dutch FA said Eredivisie fixtures on the weekend before the semi-final first leg at Tottenham Hotspur will be postponed.

Ajax were due to play relegation-threatened De Graafschap on April 28, two days before the trip to Spurs, but the Dutch FA plan to rearrange all games in the penultimate round of fixtures.

The regular Dutch league season will be extended to May 15.

Apparently they can't play that round on the Saturday as it is a national holiday (king's birthday) and as a consequence the police are too busy on Friday to play then. If it had been earlier in the season they would have just moved the one game and not the whole round. They FA even tried to get UEFA to change the date of the first leg.

Probably easier to move league fixtures around if there isn't much TV money holding sway over when the games are played. I don't know how much TV money there is for the Dutch league, but I'm guessing it isn't much.

Alan Shearer's conclusion: "Barca are still my favourites to go all the way and win it, but Liverpool's attack will cause them problems and that tie is also very difficult to call" (BBC)

A new Lawro in the making. If he expects Barcelona to win it all then the semi-final call is quite easy.

One unintended bonus: Van Persie is retiring at the end of the season, but now Feyenoord's last game is an away game instead of a home game and everyone is very upset.

He’s not even played 100 games for them yet has he?

Surprised they are making a big deal over it.
