Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

To be fair to them, I hate them with every bone in my body, but if they win the last 4, they deserve the title. They'd be very, very unfortunate to lose only 1 game, get 97 points and not win the league.

It still wouldn't stop me tinkling myself if Rafa costs them the league in the second last game though.

They had a minute's applause for an out and out racist today

From Smith's wikipedia:
In 1988, Smith caused controversy after stating in an interview with the author Dave Hill that Howard Gayle "suffered from a black man's attitude towards the white man. See, everybody thinks whites have an attitude towards blacks. In reality it's blacks who have a problem with the whites... I used to call Howard the 'White Nigger'. Now that is a compliment. It was the only way I could find to describe that I thought he was OK." Smith then went on to comment to Hill that "I'm not prejudiced but if a coon moved in next door, I'd move, like most white people would. If my daughter came home with a nigger, I'd go mad. But I'm only being truthful and normal." Smith intended to sue Hill, but found he had no grounds to take legal action as Hill had recorded all of Smith's comments on tape during the interview.

And here's Howard Gayle talking in 2016 about the racist treatment he got in training from Smith

Incredible.

This is the kind of thing I was referring to in the racism in football thread, as long as attitudes like this are accepted because of sporting achievement there will be no meaningful change.

@MiguelDelaney:
If both Liverpool and City win all their games, it means that defeat to City would stop Liverpool being champions, stop them being centurions and stop them being invincibles.

Wow. 1988 too.

Whoever finishes 2nd will more than likely get 90+ points. That’s an incredible amount for 2nd. I remember united getting 89 when Emirates Marketing Project first won the league but not sure what the points record is for a 2nd placed team.

Still too close to call. Emirates Marketing Project have a game in hand but Liverpool have points on the board and have nicer fixtures. I’d back Emirates Marketing Project given their recent history of winning titles and the fact that Liverpool haven’t won it in so long will make it harder. They’ve been nervy for the last few months and that will only get worse the closer we get to the last game.

Looking at the fixtures Liverpool should expect to win all four. City could drop points against us or United and one draw is all Liverpool would need. City have it in their own hands, but Liverpool are favourites. Chances are it won't happen like that and there will be an unexpected twist.

We currently have one screen in the room I'm in at the pub dedicated to showing Liverpool fans jumping around while some band is playing. They have a backdrop that simply says 'BOSS' colored as the German flag.

I couldn’t believe it tonight, on holiday with the family, scoped a location earlier in the week, checked in this afternoon to find it full of white shirts, walked back in at ko time to see the Porto line up, disaster, had to use my phone as an AP for a tributary on my laptop back in the room, probably cost me a fortune.

Think not of cost, but of value...

Salah really loves the theatrical dives, sad thing is instead of being carded for diving he's rewarded with penalties.

You'd think the Ref's would have spoken about it, him and Mane are the same, touch them in the box and watch them fall.
