Kyle Walker-Peters

Funny old game!
In the Southampton game, KWP was doing more than OK in the first half.
He then had his lack a pace exposed and everybody piled in with criticism.
I think he needs more games before he is written off.
I don’t think he lacks pace.

He just has very very short legs.

First look on here since getting home. Were you lot watching the same match as me? This lad was class today and Moura's second goal was a direct result of his skill and persistance.

WTF? No mention?
Thought he was good, but perhaps not great considering the level of the opposition.

Wouldn't be against him as one of two right backs next season. Needs more regular game time to develop further I think and he has a lot of the ingredients.

KWP is not at the required level to play for Spurs on a regular bases in the EPL.
He needs a loan to get regular football then see where that leads.
Watched him in U21 and he just doesn’t press well.
Good dancer though :)

I'd hoped that people would stop making statements like this after Sissoko.
Why?
He 22 a currently not good enough, needs regular football.
There is an outside chance he comes the second choice if we get rid one our current duo.
Sissoko is brilliant and you are inferring we must never say any negative against any other player on the back of this. Oh please, Milo don't be daft, oh and Janssen sends his regards;)

Based on how many starts? He was good enough yesterday.

People said the same about Sissoko last summer, the same about Kane, the same about Rose...

I trust the manager.

You're absolutely spot on about the opposition but are we going to use that to strike Moura's hat trick off the record books? I think not! You can only play what's in front of you.

I dont know how anyone can make a call either way on KWP, he has not played enough.

He was excellent against Huddersfield and Burnley but Turgid against Southampton and West ham.

Can someone send legorodent the memo about the proper way to castigate our players after a few matches? He seems to be employing rationale and reason.

Yesterday was the best i have seen him play for us, i know it was against a poor side but even so he showed more then he has so far ( imo).
