Citys defence always seem to struggle against pace - Kompany/Otamendi etc will lap Llorente up

On his own with no support maybe they would but id wager with Son and Moura for their defense to think about as well Llorente would get enough time/room to have an impact

Llorente played well today as he did for his cameo midweek.

Would think about playing him as a focal point on Weds with Son and Moura off of him.

I think if he is fully recovered from his knocks today, that is what Poch might do.

So it could be SELL ( Son, Eriksen, Lucas and Lorente) rather than DESK ( Dele, Eriksen, Son and Kane)

Just have flashbacks from Chelsea when he held up next to nothing (not alone) - think 2/3 interchangeable and counter attacking forwards is the way.

BTW, my pundit said during commentary today that we had scored more headed goals than anyone in the PL.

Can this be true? Absolutely remarkable if it is. And just imagine where we would be if Eriksen could take a decent corner!!!!

Yes

Arsenal and Bournemouth have the most goals from corners so far this season. They've both got four more than us, many of those won't be headers, so it probably wouldn't make a lot of difference.

Kane is a fantastic player, but there's no denying it, we haven't exactly struggled in the games he's not played!

Yes. I know it was only Huddersfield, but he was hardly missed. It's like the team dont have to worry about playing to his strengths/getting the ball to him, and seem to play with a lit more freedom.

I know Moura got the hat-trick but Sissoko walked the MOTM for me. For the 10min after he went off we fell apart, no coincidence. He is definitely becoming a crowd favourite, loads of chanting for him. I think had he scored it would have brought the house down

If we feed into him like a no10 on the break, he can have Son and Moura running past him.

That fine in theory, but if he can't flick on or control the ball we'll have 3 men out of the game, I seem to be alone in think he wasn't very good today, I understand its difficult when you're not playing regularly and when you do play it's in a very altered team but he looks well short of what we need, I hope he goes on to prove me wrong but I doubt it.

You are not alone.

He's got a goal or assist every 70 minute he's played for us this season.

I thought Llorente was average today at best
Not a goal threat despite us having plenty of chances and yet again static play
