What aftershave do you ladies use?

Lynx Africa

Ah l, the scent of champions in my youth.

Currently have Paco Rabanne, Diesel and Hugo Boss on the go.

A fair few years ago, my best mates mum got me an aftershave from I assume Superdrug for Christmas. I vividly remember opening it up and doing my best impression of a grateful person.

One winters evening in January I was rushing out of the house and the only aftershave to hand was this bottle. I reluctantly sprayed myself and left. I’d never had so many compliments from both sexes about my scent that night. I decided to wear it again another evening. Same result. And so I never left the house without wearing it until the bottle was dry. That scent sealed the deal for me a few times. I’ve not purchased it since but this thread has reminded me of that time and in my current singledom and barren run, I’m considering buying another bottle.

That scent ladies and gentleman....that scent was David Beckham’s first edition aftershave.

And consequently, did you indeed get to Bend It, like Beckham, later that night?

I had a girlfriend when I was 21 who would only buy aftershave as presents
16 years later, I still have five left I think (although one is Polo Sport - that just reminds me of being 17)
You obviously didn't take the hint.

Serious question; given the story....why the fudge not?!

I've had a bottle of aftershave for ... 7 years now - no idea what brand it is. The one before that, which I never really used up but it got lost somewhere, I bought in 2003. I don't use a lot of it, haha.

Just collected my 15 year old nephew for today’s game. The car now reeks of aftershave - apparently he wore it to a party last night but doesn’t know which one it was. Ghod only knows how much he had on but it’s still going strong! Decided best not to ask too many questions about its “effectiveness”.

Now we're moving into interesting territory! Tell us more!

Honest story
Was out with work in a strip club in Bristol, mid week too so it was empty
End up chatting to some of the girls as frankly it’s boring after a while watching them dance
Got on the subject of nice smells and she reccomended that
