At least Trippier doesn’t take up a foreign place though. FM time, sell them both and buy Wan Bissaka and promote KWP to RB reserve.

Trouble is, Trippier’s value will be much lower than Last August and we haven’t a hope in hell of getting back the 25m we spunked on Aurier and Levy doesn’t like taking a hit on these sort of things.
 
I personally would like to see KWP get a few games at Right back and see what we have ahead of the summer. I dont think he can defence any works that Tripps and Aurier have been doing and he has shown he has an assist in him.

We need a right back who can actually defend and understands positioning. Tripper and Aurier are as bad as each other on this.

I swear Serge popped up in central attacking positions and even on the left a few times today, like what the fudge was he playing at. Just goes walkabout.

I saw him on the left around the 55th minute an d was trying to figure out if it was some kooky overload instruction hahahahahahah!

I can't dance with that at all, our problem is we have 4 players for the FB positions ( not counting KWP) and the only one that is any good as a defender is Davies. Rose was sleeping yet again for their second goal and its not the first time.

Maybe, but its not the first time Rose has been caught sleeping at the back post. Going forward he brings a lot to our game but he does not cover the ball across the box from the opposite side and we have conceded because of that.
 
I think Aurier is actually a good player, he’s good in his direct battles and has a good assist record going forward. Has the energy to keep getting up and down.

I just don’t understand that terrible clearance into a dangerous area. On the one hand you could say it is harsh luck, and that the team still had more to do to break us down. But that kind of bad clearance doesn’t happen, not at Poch’s Spurs. He had time, but it’s like a lack of concentration. Once we’re expecting the ball to go somewhere else, we’re set up all wrong and it’s easier for Burnley to exploit.

Just annoyingly poor from an otherwise decent player. He doesn’t help himself.

You may be surprised by Trippier's value. I think he will go for pretty much the same price as he would last season. He is still highly regarded.

I have always backed any player who steps on the pitch in the lillywhite.

However, backing a player during the game should result into a misguided fear not to call a spade by its name when the game is over. Aurier is a maverick and to be honest not a particularly good full back. People have been saying... give him time. Yet the brainfarts, the wrong positioning, the powderpuff defending he showed on day 1 were seen again yesterday. He is simply not consistently good enough - either defensive or offensively.
