Fascism is spreading. Right wing leaders are emerging all over the world. Intolerance and racism are being fed to an uneducated lower-middle class and the internet allows these basement-dwelling recluses a way to share their ideas and bolster their hatred.

It's seriously scary brick. He live-streamed this disgraceful, unthinkable act to people applauding. His ideas were formed by predominantly American websites and mouth-pieces. Fox News.. He fudging shot a young girl in the back of the head who was screaming for help.

It's a scary time for humanity. I know comparatively it's a relatively peaceful era, but I feel like it's building up to something larger. Something much worse bubbling away below the surface.

The Christchurch shooter livestreamed his murders. Shot crowds of people huddled in the corners, trying to get out of his way. Shot a woman lying injured on the ground, begging for help. Shot a brave soul who ran 15 feet down a hallway, trying to tackle him to stop the killing.

And then he walked back to his car, reloaded, and then walked back into the mosque so he could calmly, methodically put three bullets into each body, just to make sure they were dead. Executed the wounded, executed women, executed children.

And all the while, he was spouting stupid fudging memes from the far right that he picked up across the internet - from 4chan to Reddit ,and everywhere in between. He kept quoting memes, even when driving into traffic avoiding the police and conducting drive-by shootings of random people.

He calmly livestreamed his murders for everyone on 4chan and 8chan to watch and laugh about, all the while laughing and spouting memes and far-right rhetoric about white genocide, population displacement and murderous xenophobia.

And, in his manifesto, he quoted similar spree killers, from Canada's own Alexandre Bissonnette to Anders Breivik, and promised that more would come.

He's right about that - the far right has been enabled for all these years by the cowardice of the regular right, which stood silent in the face of the rising tide of ethnonationalism and hatred that their rhetoric was feeding. It was useful electorally, so why would they care? After all, nothing bad could happen when they talked about 'Britain at Breaking Point', 'Murderers and Rapists at the Mexican Border', 'Barbaric Cultural Practices', and loads of other dogwhistles.

And now, the chickens are coming home to roost. A new generation of spree killers, emboldened by the white nationalist zeitgeist, are on their way - like this fudger. Each feeding off the ones before, and each determined to kill more, in service of the race war that the rhetoric of all these bloodless cowards on the new right fuelled.

I hope Farage et al. enjoy watching the livestreams of innocent people dying, because there are more on the way - and they are, in huge part, responsible.
