The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

Everyone talking about the scums away form being brick. Have you seen us play recently ?

We are in the mire no doubt about it.

True. But gooners have 8 games left, 5 away. 4 of them are against teams in the upper/middle part of the table (lowest of those 4 is Everton, in 11th). They haven't won any away games against teams in the top half, infact they have only won 2 games against teams outside the relegation zone (P11, W2, D4 L5 against teams above 18th place). Their other away game is at Burnley -- that won't be easy for them either.

We have 8 games left, 5 of them at our new home. All 5 are against teams outside of the top 8 -- and we have won every home game against teams outside of the top 8 this season.

So get your popcorn ready for some Arsenal Fan TV classics over the next couple of months.

I think results today work in our favor. Utd's train derailed, Chelski's train derailed a bit (we need Everton to show up and with them having blown a two goal lead at barcodes they will double-time it)...

What we have to remember is this is in our hands right now. Still. I think we will finish top 4. Right now, I think the goons will too as their defensive shape -when they pay attention- is excellent.

I hope you’re right, Steff.

Like your optimism , but some of them sides will be on the beach no doubt. Scum got it easier than us on paper in my opinion.

Normally I’d be with you but Spurs have destroyed me faith last few months we’ve been pitiful.

Put my mind somewhat at ease with this post however the run in and pressure that it brings can turn things on their head

And statistically teams take time to get home advantage in new stadia. Maybe it will be different for us as its in the same place and feels similar. But there maybe some acclimitisation. Hopefully Poch gets them training there. Or makes them all pitch tents and sleep there or something :)

I reckon they will do some training on the replica pitch they have at the training ground to get acclimatized.

Trust Arsenal to fcuk up our record. Although they were give a golden opportunity to keep the run going.
