Sell Eriksen?

Sell Eriksen?

All depends on whether he'll sign a new contract to be honest. If he doesn't then we have to sell him but I'd love him to sign and stay but we need to sign some cover for him too.

At the moment then yes. As he clearly can’t be bothered any more. His head has gone and I’d rather we didn’t keep players here that don’t want to be here and that includes Kane, Vertonghen etc if they decide they don’t want to be here. Rather have players here who are fighting to win than someone who ducks a challenge in fear that injury would scupper their chances of their big move.

It depends, if he wants to go sell him.
If as is being discussed elsewhere he will only move to RM or barca then I don't want him here putting in half a shift.
Sign on for the full monty or go. Don't want anyone who isn't fully committed.

If he wants to leave and can't get the move he wants I don't know that I'd trust him to be committed.
All pure speculation of course and only my opinion.
Sell.

IF you are correct then Poch is to be blamed. IF you are correct then Eriksen is training to a level that means that Poch picks him and plays him and never (in my recollection) subs him.
IF you are correct, other players will see this and do likewise, which means Poch is a soft touch.
IF you are correct then Poch should go too as how can we progress with manager who lets a player have such power?
For what it’s worth, I do t think you’re correct. For example, Eriksen has always shied away from tough tackles, so that’s nothing new (and not part of his skill set).

I won't mind him staying if he signs a new contract and knuckles down. If not, I'd be happy to see him go to Madrid on the basis we got Modrić back as part of the deal.

If he is willing to commit with a new contract then it’s a no brainier for me - he stays.
But without that commitment then I opt to sell him. Yes, we lose him for next season but at least we realise the funds to put towards his replacement (alternative).

Players come, players go. Personally I would like to see him stay. But it depends who we get in to replace him. For example (and this won’t happen), but if Bale and Modric came and Eriksen went the other way, yes they may not play every game - but we are craving “winners” so imagine the effect that would have on the dreasing room.
