The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

Well, as bad as it is only being a point ahead of Arsenal (shameful on our part) the big gift of the day was Chelsea dropping points at home. Take solace in the fact that Arsenal are total dogsh1t away from home and that's where most of their remaining games are (3 left at home, 5 away, the opposite of us).

How is that podgy old qunt Moss still a professional ref?

I think there has to be a more stringent fitness test for referees so they can keep up with play a bit more.

Ouch :)

He does look a little bit fat for this level to be honest

Indeed it could have been worse. They could now have been 2pts ahead

Well, this is the beginning of the end for Ole Gunnar Sherwood. Hopefully, Utd will let him mangle them up next season on the strength of the outrageous luck that have had so far under him (that has apparently run out today).

Would love to agree but I think that’s the worst possible result for us in this game. Arsenal went on a long unbeaten run at the start of the season and could do it again. We have a massive job on now to get top 4.

I’m really worried.

I think results today work in our favor. Utd's train derailed, Chelski's train derailed a bit (we need Everton to show up and with them having blown a two goal lead at barcodes they will double-time it)...

What we have to remember is this is in our hands right now. Still. I think we will finish top 4. Right now, I think the goons will too as their defensive shape -when they pay attention- is excellent.
