Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

fudged up at the start of the season by not resting the WC players enough, paying for that now, on the flip side a lot of them have taking the easy option and hidden in recent weeks

there is very little leadership in the squad

Poch needs to give them a massive kick up the arse but I fear he's too close to most of them

something needs to change drastically or Harry will be back for another 2 from 8 situation in 6 months

I think it's easy for us all to say that Poch has had to deal with a lot this season after we win. We have to say it after we lose too.

He doesn’t help him self.

Comments about mentality - which are not really that wrong - then talking about Real Madrd job the next week.

How is that going to help?

What did he say about the Real job? I missed that.

He is going to go back and manage in Spain at some point. Made reference to the fact he is friends with Madrid manager but did not want to discuss it outright.

He actually talks to much in the press and says a lot of different things from week to week. One week he will manage Argentina then he will manage in Spain and so on.

Look how often does a manager stay at a club for more then 5 years? he has done amazing for his time here but maybe he has gone stale.

@galeforce mentioned maybe he is to close to some of the players, could be why he has not dropped Eriksen yet. Why he seems to have his favourites. Feels like we are coming to the end of this little era at spurs and the way some fans hero worship him so much that it has taken on a sort of religious fervour. I think a change in the summer is no bad thing if we actually have a plan.

In 10 years time I will remember him as one our best coaches who did great things for the club and played tottenham football but just as he is seemingly moving on, it wont hurt us to bring in a new era.

Losing faith in him. Losing 9 league games is far from the form that we’ve come to expect from him. He has created the higher expectation through his incredible achievements for us but this season feels like 2012 all over again. Commanding lead over Arsenal and then we tinkle it all away. 1 point in 4 matches and have gone from being an outside shot in the title race to being an outside shot for a top 4 place.

I will write more but what the actual fudge has happened?!! Why are we terrible now. Why are we looking tired, unmotivated and defending like kids? Something appears to have happened over the past year. If big changes aren’t made in the summer then all this good work will be undone.

I admire what pochettino has done for the club but just wondering why this season is such a mess and what next? And the buck stops at the managers doors who must get criticised with failure as he gets praised with success.

I am very much on the fence about him doing a rebuild with us if he is looking to leave, other jobs shortly - as you say 5 years is a long time for 1 man to be at a club.

I agree he has done a great job, but as with the Harry team it will be looked at with a tinge of regret if he doesnt win something.

Manager gets tapped up by someone else. It happens.

People seem to take any criticism of him or the club as some disgusting outright attack which it really is not.

Think he has gone stale sadly and probably needs a change of scenery. I imagine Levy is secretly behind closed doors thinking right if he goes who do we get......

We will rally to get 5th in the league and might even lose gallantly as far as the semis of the European cup. But we wont win anything for about 5 more years till we are settled in the new stadium and on a more equal financial footing. We will probably be on our second post poch manager by then as well.

Everyone seems to think he will be a success post Tottenham. Maybe he will do what some ex players have done and struggle. If he goes to Madrid and does not win the league, which is difficult even with all their money cos of A.Madrid and Barca and the European cup is actually quite difficult. How long would he last there with their fans without winning something.

The Man U job looks to have gone. He could do a Redknapp and flirt for another job and it could have gone....

The Squad he had in the second to last/last season at the lane should really have won something.

I dont think he will be a shoe in success elsewhere, I think he found a perfect club at the right time in Spurs and vice versa.
