Mourinho - What Next?

Some rumours going around that it will happen tonight. The PSG job might open up soon, although that will probably be a regular occurrence.

PSG would be ideal for him.

He gets to spend horrendous money on older players.

He can bully his way through the domestic league, throw his weight around and pout and snipe.

And at CL level he can bore his way all the way to the final.

I cant think of anywhere more perfect for him.

The Spanish and Italian clubs often seem to go back to managers they have sacked. Didn't Capello get sacked twice by Real after winning the league? Mourinho going back to Chelsea was unusual for English football.

Always felt this. PSG should coast to they title so they can rest players for CL and for all his recent failings at United he is still a specialist in winning big cup games.
No one gives a brick about the style of football when you win cups, see United fans 2 years ago

The big problem that he's got now is that players hate him and everyone can see that the bluster is flimflam. He's been spent since he lost the dressing room at Madrid, the PSG players will know this.

The more i think about it, the more i think Real Madrid will be playing a blinder if they hire Jose now until at least the summer; there are some stubborn old has-been qunts that they need to get rid of or at least smack back into shape, like Ramos, Marcelo, Benzema.

Which qunt is best placed to do that for the next few months, eh?

If Toby goes I'd take him. Total clam but Roy Keane levels of will to win. fudge it.
Yea, would be a great signing, he can play. However, never going to happen! He’d want ludicrous money and I don’t think little old Tottenham would be a big enough pull for his ego.

The article speculates that it's between Juve and City.

I think he’s only get a season or two to get it right. Players usually respond to a new manager and if they are winning football matches they are usually more responsive to the regime.
In the case of PSG he could be the perfect remedy
to their CL choking which is why they may tolerate him more than a team who is obsessed with their style of play.

Whatever his current reputation the guy does know how to win trophies, even if the end of his tenure ends in disaster. PSG of all clubs can afford that to happen!

The thing I’m also sure of is he won’t have learned any lessons regarding dressing room fall outs, he’s like an antidote that lessens with effectiveness the longer it is used for.

I think all of that is true in the past but I don't think that he's been the same manager since Madrid. He lost the dressing room there with his bullying and I think he's carried that since.
