Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Gerrard now has a great chance to win a trophy at first time of asking, because unless they get Rafa in, Celtic's dominance of all competitions is probably over.
We want this right? Along with terry getting the Chelsea job, Rsol the Goons job and the holy trinity is complete as they preside over an irreversible Leeds or Villa style demise...

Watch and see, they could bottle the rest of this season, we could finish 2nd and I will bet at the start of next season pudits/media/idiots everywhere will have "Spurs struggling to stay in top 4" and Pool as title favorites ...

This really tinkles me off. It just proves, year on year, how little our pundits and commentators actually know.

Most of them are fudging idiots and it infuriates me. But not as much as...

It's fudging maddening that it's accepted, pushed by media and lapped up by fans ...

why so many fans - of clubs like ours - actually buy this brick is beyond me.

Infuriating doesnt come close to what it is like reading thread after thread of Spurs fans talking up fudging Liverpool as vastly superior to our own side when it is quite simply flimflam!

I don't generally look back in football, but over the past five seasons, Spurs have been superior. Liverpool though has been better than us so far this season.

If they told you we'd be 7 points clear at the turn of the year before the season started, you'd bite their hand off

If they told you we'd be 5 points clear at the end of January at the start of the season, you'd bite their hand off

If they told you we'd be 1 point clear at the end of February before the start of the season, you'd bite their hand off

If they told you we'd only be one point behind the leaders at the start of March before the season began, you'd bite their hand off...

we'd be all over them had we not had such a bad week

My feeling a few weeks ago was that if we got the results we "should" (could?) then we would be breathing down their necks at this point with them set to implode.

I predicted the results for them and City right up to yesterday perfectly, I just also thought we would be in the mix too.

There’s not much in the fixture list left for them to worry about now, just us and Chelsea at home really, but the way we’re playing.....

Even so I’m not sure they can keep pace with City, they seem to have lost the plot away from home.

Yes, there is a fair way to go. Who knows, perhaps we will win at the Etihad and lose at Anfield, giving Liverpool another chance.

City will eat us up and spit us out at The Emptycrates but I think we’ll take points off Liverpool at Shamfield.

Which would make me berry berry habby.
