Christian Eriksen

As annoying as it was Campbell’s choice was at least logical, there is no logic in Eriksen leaving now, just as we are on the cusp of dominating football for decades, we’ll win more European Cups over the next 10 years than Spain and Manchester combined.

We won't win a thing with him playing like he did today. Poor showing, esp for the second goal. Wafted his leg at the guy with the ball, instead of making a proper manly tackle.

There’s at least 5-6 teams in Europe who are better than us right now that have deeper resources than us and are serial winners. We COULD be in with a shout of joining them with some more investment though no doubt.

Either needs a rest or to be dropped to show Eriksen that he’s not indispensable, after these recent sub-par performances. Unfortunately he’s the one player we don’t have adequate cover for.
But who is the adequate cover for Aurier?

I would have said he is irreplaceable but we need at the very least cover for him (could arguably be Alli)

I mentioned him the other day but Kai Haivert at Bayer looks a real prospect playing a similar role
