Cheatski are still scum

I think they will give Sari the Willian & Hazard money for next year. Unless they drop like a stone (I am talking lower mid table) which is possible.
which will be 150M wish id guess and maybe less as both have less contract values left
they will have Pulisic who will replace one of them
They have 2 strikers who have n contract there come the summer
They need to replace Luiz and Cahill and potentially Christiensen too

Id argue their going to go on a bit of an Arsenal spiral although clearly arsenal are making small progress now

I always question a manager who cannot (will not?) adapt.

Its all well and good having a preferred system, but if you dont have the tools to use it you really shouldnt just bluntly force it in anyway.

First things first for any manager must be to get the best out of what they have.

And then, if desired, change things over time to what they would prefer.

What he is doing at Chelsea is utterly baffling.

You don't get time at Chelsea, that's why nobody comes through the 200 player academy. It's all about instant success and buying established players with "names"

I wonder if Roman might try a different approach, he has got his winners medals now. I think the would be more money in going down the Dortmund show casing young talent route.

With their academy they could make a 100m profit every year and pay lower wages if they give some of the young players a chance. Just as I think Ashley up at Saudi Sportswashing Machine missed a trick I do not think Roman is anywhere near as clever with money as he likes to make out. Historically neither was Sugar either, I dont watch his tv show but when people tell me he is a financial guru I have to laugh and then put them straight.

I love seeing the amazing job Sarri is doing there. If he stays long enough, the Russian will sell them and their racist fans will be back where they belong

I dont think he has quite finished washing over there, not if the dodgy sponsorship deals they announce are anything to go by.

He wont sell until he has built the new stadium, imagine how much more dirty money he can clean with a build that big. Loans for the stadium must be massive, loans to use Wembley for 3 years...lots of ways for him to clean and skim, it is what he does.

Most managers now go to Chelsea for a payday.

Edit: This is a clear trade off that happens, like a deal with the devil.. Impatient, entitled fans of ours who want an uber-rich oligarch to come in and buy us success should take note.

You more than likely end up a club who is attracting the wrong kind of people, with flimsy commitment and questionable motivations.. I'll take the way we're doing things at the moment thank you very much.

This seems to happen every time Roman decides that he wants Chelsea to play more expansive football. They get a new manager in with a different philosophy, he tries to play a style of football that doesn't fit the players, gets sacked and the revert back to a defensive minded borefest manager. Or Ancelotti, who is the master of finding the best playing style of the team, given the players he has at his disposal.

Unfortunately for their owner he cant run Chelsea like his other interests, there wouldn't be anyone to beat if you have your opponents eliminated or have your mate fix things for you.

I bet many Chelsea players would prefer, if they're not making top four, to drop down the table far enough to give Europa League a miss. Their fans must hate trotting off the backwaters of European football, too. Lovely situation.

OMERUO ATTRACTING INTEREST

A number of teams in Germany and Spain are interested in Chelseadefender Kenneth Omeruo, according to The Sun.

The 25-year-old defender, who joined the Blues in 2012, is currently on loan at Leganes who are understood to have first refusal on a purchase, but there is no guarantee they will want to sell the Nigerian international.

At 25, has he ever even played for them? One of the 42 they have out on loan, but not even a youth player.
