The glorious march to CL qualification

Hopefully the two London tacos finish outside of the CL places again.

It is ruining Arsenal's finances and Roman doesn't seem willing to splash the money anymore.

People keep saying that - but that are paying fats 250k a week for the loan period

Which is no longer that different to what we're paying Kane and overall their transfer spending is a far cry from when he first came in and was blowing every team out of the water, including Manchester United.

And if the 'attraction of playing for a London club' is a thing for players, then moving on and above those two c.unts of clubs is potentially an advantage for us.

We have to accept that we have rivals and they will do everything they can to beat us. United have had to deal with this since forever. Liverpool have to deal with it. No one likes Chelsea so they have to deal with teams wanting to beat them also.

I don’t have unreasonable expectations, I don’t expect us to win the league. I do however think we have the talent to have won at least one trophy in the last 2-3 seasons. Others may say we’re “tired” or it’s just a “one off result” whenever we lose a big game at the business end of the season but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we tend to get negative results in the latter stages of tournaments and when we have a chance to go top.
It's not a coincidence, it's probability.

The later cup stages are more difficult, so we're more likely to lose.

Our level is that of a team nearly at the top of the league, hence when we lose, there's a strong chance we'll be just behind the leaders.

Agreed. Having said that, I would say our squad last season was more than a match for United’s, if not better. And yet we lost to them with a whimper last season in the fa Cup, it was one of our more anonymous performances of the season. We didn’t turn up at all. I can live with us losing to teams with more resources than us. That said, if you look at our squad, only Emirates Marketing Project have a deeper, better squad. We’re at a par with Liverpool and United are the very least. It’s the way we lose certain big games that says to me that it’s not just a coincidence or the fact that we are a “nearly” team.

Just checked and Dortmund are coming off a loss and a draw. Reus ruled out. They are there for the taking.. I reckon we can win 2 or 3 - 0.
