Moussa Sissoko

Seems to be some conflicting reports about when Sissoko will be back :

and/or

BBC reporter James Burford interviewed Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday and the Spurs boss confirmed that Sissoko's injury is not serious and while he is unlikely to be fit for the Premier League game at Fulham on Sunday, he is expected to be fit for the games following, which include the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Chelsea.

Hopefully the latter, it will have to be another excellent defensive performance at Shamford bridge

If he's back for Chelski, that's a major boost.

I never thought I'd be happy about Sissoko being fit for a major, important game for us. Shows how far he's come this season.

Another excellent game for the player who apparently has no ball control. Must have been moving the ball by remote control in his numerous mazy dribbles this afternoon; not to mention the assist to Son.

After Lloris, he was probably our second best consistent performer this afternoon - over 90 minutes.

Oh, and can we take down the ridiculous "new Pirlo" rubbish jibe... please. Although all it does, is just show up whoever put it up, for the incompetent judge of a player he is....

I can change it back to Forest Gump if you like - far more accurate.

Time for @scaramanga to man up and admit the player we are seeing now is no longer the one he is talking about.

that's not a bad way out of this brexit-esque position of division.

if we all agree that Sissoko has been replaced by a robotic double sent from the future to ensure that Spurs win the Premier League and the world is safe, then no one has to lose face and say that they were wrong about their initial assessment of him.

it's really weird this - he was totally brick, and now he's doing well in our team. i don't think anyone should feel that they would lose face by saying this. I thought he was dire and a waste of 30 million. Now I look forward to those twinkletoed runs through the midfield - it looks like fred flintstone bowling and it's awesome. i loved how straight and true his shot was today :)

On the incredibly rare occasions I'm wrong, I'll admit it.

Sissoko is strong and fast, stronger and faster than most around him. If he can learn to play football there'd be a great player there.
Tbf he showed yet again today he is utterly incapable of hitting the proverbial barn door but that aside he played some proper football today. Now looking more like Veiera than Vera.:D

Problem is scara you've pinned your colours so firmly to the mast you've forgotten how to take them down.
