Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

My immediate thought was "Lucky Fvcker!". Where can I get a job where I can toss it off 24/7 get paid for it AND make money out of watching Spurs?*

*I don't have any problem with Chris. He seems like an alright sort of bloke and his vids have been the life-blood of this thread, although walking out the toilet of "t'Rovers" is stretching the "Actor" thing a bit
Nothing but gratitude for his vids, anyone who can make a living doing what they love gets my admiration, especially if they are self sufficient in doing so.

So does anyone foresee a scenario where the ground is completed but further delayed to next season, for the sense of occasion upon opening?

I struggle to believe Levy would turn down gate receipts and associated income whilst paying for Wembley and I’d like to think the potential benefit to the team itself does enter his head too. Personally / selfishly I’d rather it open at 50% capacity with no booze on sale and a staggered post game leaving arrangement just to get in before the end of the season.

However in terms of PR and marketing, it could be seen that the stadium can only be launched once and the fanfare that could go with a pre season build up, glamour friendlies, players and fans ha if a couple of games to acclimatise before a likely lower league opponent to start the season, behind the scenes doco’s and extra finishing and testing to make sure everything is perfect might be seen as a tangible benefit of a further delay.

I don't recall any previous new stadium being opened with much fanfare or build up tbh and i doubt it's much of a consideration

Can't believe you didn't take the little tadger up onto the podium area next to the stadium and hold him over your head like some scene out of Lion King:

Or have it off with your missus up there to bring his next sibling into the world a proper Spurs fan.
I read that as "todger".

I would say there is zero chance of us further delaying the opening if the stadium is in fact cleared for use and the PL allow us to. The start of the season is kind of a dull holiday-like experience, how much better wouldn't it be to open the stadium if we're still in some sort of title race? Could potentially be a massive boost for us.

Plus the stadium is designed to be used all year round for multiple events so could potentially be in a scenario that another event opens the stadium.

How would people feel turning up to a second hand stadium for the first game there?

I’m never wrong, but sometimes I may be less right

True, but then again it wasn’t that long ago new signings were announced with a home shirt over a pair of jeans and maybe a scarf being held up, bkw we get all sorts of piano playing magician tricks as part of the announcement!

World cheese championships?

Imagine going into the season with five homes games left. The new WHL gets a rocking atmosphere from the first minute and we go unbeaten on the way to winning the league in our new home.

Don't be too hasty, I'm actually ITK on this.

The club originality mentioned the presence of a cheese room last year but since then several top transfers have fallen through because of said cheese room, the new plans (to be unveiled in time for the summer transfer window) are for a massive communal custard bath in the tunnel club, the club hopes that this will push us up to elite club status and enable us to compete with the likes of RM and Barca in the transfer market.
