Son Heung-Min

A pleasant surprise to have him back early, considering he was the only proper footballer at the tournament I expected him to win it single handedly.

He looked jaded in the United and Chelsea game I thought.

He’s gunna have to suck it up for the team.

I think it’s more sensible that he gets the rest, and then comes back when he’s sharp and fit. Otherwise we risk him continuing to play at a lower level, or him suffering an injury. Best to get through these matches, and then have him back at full strength when he’s ready. We didn’t expect him back yet, so good opportunity to let him rest for a week or so.

“On Sunday we were with him on the training ground in the morning,” boss Mauricio Pochettino said.

“He’s so tired, he played three games. Very tough games.

“Of course not too much energy on Sunday, but we hope he’ll be available and ready on Wednesday to help the team.”

I love him.

He is so under rated by others in this league, I said a couple of years ago he was up there with Sanchez(then arsenal) and I got laughed at. Think he is similar level to Sane.

I love Son, would like to find another like him who can play with pace and score goals. Thought it might be Moura (who was good tonight) but I am not quite sure he is it.

He looked so knackered at the end. That man has the fighting spirit of someone ready to join the army.
Yeah, perhaps faded a bit in the second half, but took his goal very well and even when knackered he can do that. Great work from him and fantastic to have him. I was just hoping one of our chances would come his way all game.
