Adrian Rabiot

Doesn't strike me as having quite the attitude to suit Poch, anyway, this one.

Most said similar of Aurier when he came in, and despite him not getting as many games as he would like there has been no sense of disruption from him. If anything he seems pretty settled and at one with the squad.

I completely see that Rabiot appears to have attitude issues, but honestly dont know how much is tabloid BS, his mum, misinterpretation or genuine...

I tend to err on the side of Poch, if we sign anyone he will have spoken to them and given the move the ok...

Maybe, yeah, we'll see. I don't remember Aurier mouthing off about himself in the press the way it's been reported about Rabiot, but perhaps I just wasn't paying attention.

Auriers issues were of a different nature, but he was most definitely raised in a similar vein - IE He's got a bad attitude and wont settle in/wont get on with Poch etc.

Though unlike with Rabiot there was also a massive overblown discussion about homophobia etc as well.

Im not saying Rabiot wouldnt be an issue, he may be, its more that Im saying I just dont know enough to judge.

It seems to me his issue with PSG have been around recognition. He has chosen to allow his contract to run down as he wants a fair contract, and wants to play, and they refuse - while buying expensive players and giving them free reign... At least from what I gather, and if thats the case Im not sure Id consider him a problem player as such, I cant help feeling he has a point!

Maybe, just maybe, we’ll pull this off on deadline day. Needs to leave PSG asap, so why not? We’ll see if the boys can work their magic. (Pessimistic to say the least but hey)

It's quite a similar situation to where we were with Moura this time 12 months ago, and that came together in the final few days

I didnt blame Moura for that then, and I dont blame Rabiot now.

Ultimately a very talented player that could/should attract interest from the top table. Its just good sense to show some patience and see what offers materialise.

He does seem to have a very high opinion of himself.

He's a very good player but he's not a modric who's gona walk into the barca side.

Even at liverpool their apparently not fussed to pay £20m for him now but may well have told him they'll take him for free in the summer, with pool thinking to themselves why not.

But they have so many central midfield options that he's not going to be a regular.

You'd think after a stop start beginning to his career a club like Spurs are ideal, as they is a clear space in the eleven for him, with CL football on offer. Throw in a new stadium, very good money, London, a club that has shown much more desire than anyone else to sign you, lloris/aurier/lucas and you'd think we'd be very attractive to him.

But he seems to me to be hell bent on joining the biggest name club possible but in doing so he's only going to repeat the circumstances he already faces at psg - a continuation of a stop start career without regular first team football.

He does seem to have a rather large ego this one and it seems to be driving his decision making and his determination to stick it to psg and say ''oh look at me i'm a barca/bayern/pool player now''. Urm you wont play nearly enough idiot.

Due to his ego dominating his abilty to think long term, i believe he's destined for a mediocre career.

In summary the guys a dingdong and can fudge off.
