As I said somewhere else, every CL qualification we make is depriving a rival club of the CL money, helping us to close the income gap that just few years ago seemed would be impossible due to the Sky 4 cartel.

It’s £50M and more coming our way which makes a big difference along with the profile

In a Weird way I’d like United to nick 4th now from Chelsea and we are then the same a s this year, the only London side in it

Inter name Ozil condition
Inter Milan have made a huge demand in their bid to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil on loan, according to reports.

The Italian giants said to be interested in bringing the former German international in, but the 30-year-old’s £350,000-a-week salary is believed to be a sticking point.

In order for a deal to go through, the Daily Star reports, Inter want Arsenal to pay HALF Ozil’s wages.

Although the midfielder has been on the fringes of the Gunners team since Unai Emery took over from Arsene Wenger, his sky-high wages are believed to have put teams off from signing him.

Oh thats just priceless, completely self inflicted as well.

The other thing is United can survive without CL for a couple of seasons as they are ahead of everyone else domestically income wise. It’s all well and good Andy Serkis saying they want to win cups, if you are out of top 4 contention you have little
choice but to divert all the efforts of the highest paid squad in the league to do so and the task becomes a lot easier. As LVG and mourinho have shown, the short term good feeling of winning cups, (including a bonus CL prize) did not sustain their job for long. Unless it’s all down the the style of football regardless of the results, but I’m sure the Glazers don’t have Martinez in their sights.
