Adrian Rabiot

Presumably he'd be relatively cheap given he's out of contract at the end of the season. Anyone seen any prices mentioned?

He looks no better form what I’ve seen

May excel playing in a better league but it’s not like their pulling up trees trying to keep him
They offered him a brick load and when he said he wouldn't sign they spar their dummy out and had him train away.

Seems like a super-arrogant, narcissistic, p-i-t-a.

I would be surprised if Poch wants that guy and his mum around the camp.
I think that Poch will get a good read of him from the current Spurs lads who know him well enough you would think, and Poch probably has his own contacts at PSG too. If he comes to Spurs then either Poch thinks his personality won't be a problem or maybe the media representation of him is not entirely accurate.

I will say that having your parent as your agent is a double-edged sword. You can be sure that they truly have nothing but your best interests at heart, certainly more so than a hired gun. However because of that they can be too demanding, and a parent will find it very hard objectively gauge their son's ability and know his limits. I've seen a bit of it in youth football and this situation smells a little the same. "Barca is the only team good enough for my little bunny".

As for ability, I've flipped back and forth on this guy a few times. Sometimes he looks a world beater and other times a passenger. I have ony seen him in the CL mind.

Strange if they really did considering he seems to be chasing the money elsewhere

PSG's sporting director, Antero Henrique announced in an interview with Yahooon Monday that Rabiot has been banned from the first-team squad until further notice. Or until he signs a new contract, that is.

Rabiot's current deal runs out in June 2019 and he told the club last week that he was not going to sign the lucrative new terms offered to him. Instead he wants to leave on a free in the summer.

Heard all these type of negative assumptions on character type from posters on here about Aurier, talking like they personally knew the guy yet Poch signed him. Best not to make assumptions based on a few media quotes when in reality you don’t have a clue what they guy is like....

Past behavior is some prediction of future behavior. If we sign him and he does really well we could see a similar situation when his contract gets shorter with us. That doesn't mean we shouldn't sign him mind.

It might be the parents/agent that's being ass holes. He might be a terrific lad, suffering for their incompetence.

Okay. So, there was a picnic with the Pochettinos last night. Who's got the updates? Has Poch got his buccaneering new midfielder in the bag?

Seen £/€10m approx.

He is out of contract very soon, so the fee is never going to be the issue.

The issue is in his wage demands and convincing him Spurs is the place to be.

All the while the like of Barca are sniffing round we are going to be second choice at best.

There's no way we're buying him in my opinion. If PSG can't sell him to a club who is willing to pay him what he wants then we'll maybe get him on loan to get him away from their squad until he leaves on a free.
