I assume Daisuk refers to the heroic FA Cup 3rd round away game at Old Trafford when we had about 10 injuries and had to play the reserves. A superb performance in terms of determination and we held out for a long time. Even Dean Austin played well. I was high up in a far corner but the away support at the old score board end was deafening.

Indeed. I remember seeing the starting xi and my stomach just turning - most of my friends were united at the time, so feared a 7-0 defeat at the time (we seemed to produce them on a regular basis back then). We lost 2-0 (right?) and held our heads up high.

After that, Son might be back. Who knows re Dele...
 
Soooo,34 year old bench wArmer Llorente sometimes gets consideration of lack of minutes to explain how dire he is, yet today, GK - who to all intents and purposes is an outcast- puts in a stunning cross to set up the winner. Hmmm. All who give Llorente that excuse might want to reconsider.

Top top cross, deserved a goal, well done winks for getting on the end of that. We sorely lacked any quality crosses all game, great to see Gkn come up with the goods when we needed it most.
