What trolling of United should Poch do on Sunday? A badge kiss?

A part of me would love to see Poch kiss the badge and point at the ground to indicate he is staying. Another part of me would love him t show Man U a little leg, as if he is interested and string them along until it is too late to get a decent replacement, new signing, etc.

Reading their match thread on the redcafe. they really are some of the most deluded fans on the planet. popular opinions from them include Kane is not world class (one poster compared him to Andy Carroll), Martial is superior to Kane, none of our front 4 would get on there team. Oh yeh and Pogba is back to being the best player in the country.

I imagine most of them base their footballing knowledge on the player attribute numbers in FIFA19.

Indeed. The United fan in my office... a month ago he was saying Mourinho was fantastic and would turn it around... a week later he was saying he doesn't really follow football much and is more of a Philadelphia Eagles fan this year... now he is saying MNU are going to smash Spurs and is overconfident. Would love to tear Utd to pieces and dent their ego for next time.

Haha, sounds like pretty much every United "fan" I know.

We've got one of those in the office too.

It sounds like many on here too:D All teams have similar sets of fans, some over react, some overly negative/positive etc I dont get why any set of fans would act as if they are superior in this department, essentially we all have the same types of fans despite some wanting to claim club x,y or z is worse....

While I agree all clubs share the same types of fans, I do think the balance between those types varies between clubs.

There are definite traits to associate with various clubs, in a "generally speaking" kind of way. Obviously beyond that "Liverpool fans are cultish victims" there is a broad range of different types of fans. BUT - Liverpool have that rep for a reason...

Was waiting for someone to bring Liverpool into this:D I know what you mean, and you are right different clubs have different traits - but I do think its ultimately all much of a muchness....

I have a chat in my local with a Charlton fan and he says he didnt realise how good things were when they were in Prem and wished he hadnt been such a moaner when they were.

Was the most obvious example of what I meant!

I agree theres a bit of everything in every support - but I do stand by the distinction that the balance between those varies from club to club, hence a certain identity to that fan base.

So not really much of a muchness, for me.
