Very surprised Rose has moved from Taylormade to Honma

Pretty much number one in the world, absolutely loaded too
Strange strange move

Don't know much about Honma but can rarely be a good thing unless they are investing heavily to become a big player.

In other news did anyone see Rory's comments on the European Tour today, it's not at the same quality or prize level of the PGA tour but I think it still has something to offer. The courses tend to vary a lot more and there's some decent golf being player, golf needs 2 decent tours really.

The company has made an effort to jump into the American marketplace, offering a custom-fitting model with a variety of experiential stores and sales points. Though sales have nearly doubled year-over-year, Honma has few American accounts.

Honma brought in former TaylorMade golf head and former adidas North America boss Mark King as a "strategic advisor" in August to help their golf operation. King has been said to have been ostensibly put in charge of the North American operation. It's thought King, who saw signing top pros including Rose as a huge priority when at TaylorMade's helm from 1999-2013, was able to lure Rose to the brand

Rose is best buddies with Mark King so it sort of makes a bit more sense

Buddies is one thing, watching your career go south is another.
Going from one traditional manufactoring powerhouse like TM to titleist or mizuno is one thing, and not an easy one, jumping onto into a 'boutique' producer is another. And I can't think of any that ended well.
From faldo to mcilroy they've all struggled, at least faldo saw sense and went back to mizuno.

Book to take the family to see Dumbo at 5pm thinking the golf wouldn't start till 7.30pm
Now with the brought forward tee times it will be finished by the time I get back brilliant !!!

I hope Tiger wins, I love a comeback story. Would it be the greatest comeback in all of sport? It'd be up there.
