The Youth Players/On-Loan Thread 2018/19

Such a shame for Luke Amos that he missed this season.
Imagine the good fortune for Skippy - ahead of him was a host of top players - with more signings likely in the summer - then suddenly we make zero signings, the starters all get injured, even Amos... and blam he gets his chance.

Real "sliding doors" moments for Amos and Skippy

I’m still optimistic we’ll see more of Amos next year.

As with the seniors, Spurs finished 2nd behind Barcelona in their UEFA Youth League group. The 8 group winners automatically qualify for the last 16 knockout round. The other 8 places in the last 16 are decided by a play-off round between the group runners-up and the winners from the Domestic Champions path. In the play-off round Spurs have been drawn away to PAOK in a one-off tie to be played on 19 February.
Ouch. That's a tough match for them -- a real test of temperament. Hopefully their greater quality will shine through.

From what I've seen of Amos he's a very good team player with great attitude but nothing outstanding in his overall play, I may be wrong but I think Winks and Skipp are better players and he won't get past them and Oakley-Booth and Magomha are more skilful than him and White looks a good prospect.

Sheffield Wednesday manager sacked as predicted earlier on this thread. What is impact on Onomah? I am worried that they are considering Steve Bruce.

Onomah seems to be in the unfortunate position of having to play for Steve Bruce for a second season running. That's assuming that Bruce is appointed in the next week or so. Who knows, he may somehow impress under Bruce, but I doubt they will suddenly turn into the type of team the Josh would thrive in.

I also agree with Windy that a move away would be best for him.
