Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Latest rumour

Having the 2nd test event on Jan 9th (a Wednesday) seems a bit close to the Utd game if for some reason something goes wrong. Although I suppose if we get through the first one OK then is there much that is likely to go wrong apart from crowd ingress/egress?
Also a bit close for sorting out ticketing I would have thought.

Not sure why Palarse v Cheatski means a LKO (which I would take to be an evening k.o.). We are the North London club (OK, there is Barnet), and I wouldn't expect a fan congestion issue.

2nd match Wednesday afternoon ?

I imagine it’s due to the time of year?

Less police/more people in the capital ?

Talking to some stewards last night they said they’d been told to take rumours of a PL game on 13 Jan at NWHL with a pinch of salt. They think it will be later.

In conclusion: no one really has a clue.

That's interesting, I've been told Jan 13th is the No.1 target! That's by someone involved in the build!

On TV last night, there was a programme about really high end exclusive posh hotel. The kind of operation that hosts birthday parties costing £5 million. They were opening Tom Kerridge’s new restaurant and they had four hours before customers arrived and they were still drilling and sawing and screwing let alone cleaning up or laying the tablecloths or putting up the cutlery or starting to cook a meal for those customers. It is amazing what can be done in four hours!

What do you think the story is on the cladding, is it just really slow work to get it up, or are they just taking their time on that part and closing/finishing bits off as and when needed?
