Hey all

just a quick one, never played the game but heard alot of things about it, is it only an online game? As in you need to be on wifi and play in an online world with other users around the world?
 
Yep and in my experience the other players are ruthless little bricks that need to learn to respect their elders

My daughter prefers Roblox. She bullied me into signing up as well, and we spent a few happy evenings chasing each other around dystopian landscapes, bent on murder.
 
Never played it myself, just watched my nephews play it. Don't get the fuss. It's like counter strike for toddlers.
I only play one game, and that is World of tanks. Been playing it since open beta in 2011! Had a two year break a couple of years ago, but started playing occasionally again.
Still think it's great fun, although I don't agree in the direction the developers have taken the game. (awful matchmaker and it's become more "pay to win") Some upcoming changes will hopefully make it a bit better again.
 
I dip in and out of Fortnite, it has the same issue all FPS DM’s do for me, I don’t play it enough to level up enough to compete with the pro’s.

There's no leveling up - everyone starts each game on the same level
 
I have to ration my kids time on it. The 10 year old goes a bit mental playing it. This generations War Crack.

Are you suggesting I’m losing merely due to lack of talent and it’s not a case of all the kids spending loads of time and money on upgrades?

Seems unpossible.
