I think the line-up will be same as vs Chelsea except Vertonghen will play instead of Foyth. I'd be ok with that but would have started Rose if fit instead of Davies.
Shame that Sanchez isn't available otherwise we'd be able to squeeze the pitch a bit more with a higher line. Oh well, hopefully the pace of Son and the quick-thinking of Alli, Eriksen and Kane will do them on the break.

Poch got first wins at Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford this year, why not Emirates??

Our biggest issue will be whether we take it seriously or not.

When we're really focussed and firing we are formidable.

When we're lacking and lazy we lose.

So will we be FFF or LLL against this joke side from Woolwich?

Whatever the result I just hope we turn up and show a bit of pride unlike the dross we served up last season. I can live with a bad result provided we don’t play like scaredy cat clams like we normally do. We’re more than capable of beating them, let’s show it on the pitch.

Winks, Dier
Eriksen, Dele, Son
Kane

Gazzaniga, Foyth, Davies, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas, Llorente

I don't think that there is any need to rush Rose, Davies' form has looked better these last couple of games
Yep, hopefully Poch waits for Southampton and Leicester to change this winning team.

Lloris
Aurier...Alderweireld...Vertonghen...Davies
Dier
Sissoko.........Eriksen
Dele
Son...Kane

Foyth in, if Vertonghen hasn't recovered from Tuesday.

They've been playing quite a high line, haven't they? That probably edges it for Son over Moura or Lamela.

So after contributing honey badger taking on lions and snakes to great effect, it was a little difficult as the only animal I’m aware associated with the Woolwich Wanderers is the Goonersaurus...however with reference to their logo this should suffice:

Widely considered the most fearless animal on Earth, the honey badger is a creature who’s small size and adorable name belies a ferocious, uncontrollable temper. Armed with claws that can puncture a car door and teeth that can crack a concrete walnut, perhaps the honey badger’s greatest asset is its skin.

I know they’ve had a week off but I think the result in midweek should put a spring in the lads step. Would just switch Eriksen and Son back in to that team, unless Rose is 100%.
