Sounds frustrating! Custard withdrawl? Can you get into Safe Mode? Win 10 is annoying the way it makes safe mode harder to get into.

Yep, but it was no good. No matter how hard i tried or what instructions i followed it all pointed to a clean install. After a while i managed to get the log in screen and after that if you hold brick whist using the restart option on the log in page you boot straight into safe mode. Other wise its bloody hard to time it right with a SSD.

Are you being entirely honest about what stopped it working in the first place?

Hate windows 10, for ages i kept getting questions asking if i wanted to download it and i kept saying NO. Then i logged on one day and the bastards just loaded it without any notice, since then i have had all sorts of problems with it.

Bastards.

Do you need to hold the brick during the entire installation process, or are you allowed to eventually flush it?
