Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Floodlight testing
image.php

Not floodlights, but the midnight sun.

By the way, I'm loving the stadium, but I do think it would look tighter, more intimidating with a narrower south stand, something like this

I know sight lines and geometry may preclude this option

Edit - damn, imgur links are awkward to embed! If you hover on the image you get tiny arrows to go left and right, to see the difference. [[Yes, it took me a full 2 minutes to make this image, it is not supposed to be a work of art]]

Maybe, but considering you get more people crammed in with the solution we've gone for, the noise level should be potentially much higher.

My only pet peeve with the stadium is the walls that close off the south stand from east and west, and the hight difference there look a bit weird. I suppose you can't get it all though, overall it looks excellent, and quite intimate for such a modern big capacity stadium.

Travelled down on the East Coast Mainline yesterday, not my usual route. Was well impressed with the view of NWHL from the train between Ally Pall and Hornsey. Like a mahoosive starship dominating the skyline.

Get us out of Wembley ASAP! Soulless brickhole!

(You might have guessed that I’m a tinkled off after today)
I may have been spoiled as I used to be the shelf side where I think we had the unofficial right to stand because of the post but I’ve definitely found that sitting at Wembley makes me feel less involved into the emotion of the game. Even though there’s a lot of familiar faces where I am now there is also different people sitting there every week which is taking away the consistency of behaviour too.

I hope this safe standing comes on board ASAP or at least an unofficial acceptance of it in the single tier end when we do finally move in.

Interesting idea but I think the gaps of sky differing between the two photos make a difference to the 'feel.'

Something similar was in one of the KSS proposals:

I think the Populous design is much better, but that's just personal preference.

Most of you probably won't give a brick about this, but 4:54 minutes into this video, you can see how the new stadium looks in a match in FIFA 19. :)

To me it looks like the exit's are very small in the south stand considering how many people are going up and down from that one exit per block
