The NFL Thread

everything about the NFL is geared to parity and ensuring teams don't dominate, but yet again the Patriots are in the big game again and Brady who would lose a race against Mertesacker keeps getting it done at age 40 in a league where the average career is 3 years, he's a freak of nature.

Seeing these random nobodies, really brings home the fact that "fame" and "sport" are odd concepts.

You see Norway's best handballist and think meh. You see Croatia's best waterpoloist and think meh. You see gridirons best runnycatcher and think meh. You see Harry Kane and think HARRRRRRY FAAAAAAACKIN KAAAAAAAAANNNNNNE

SO. NFL in our new season at some point!!! so should make you all stoked for the return of the GLORY GLORY BOWL XV Yahoo fantasy football. We have 10 hold over teams from last season but a couple of spots for any people that want to join. Let me know if you are interested and ill send you a join link.

Any Questions ask away. We do a live draft every season. That means we sit for about 1-2 hours and pick / draft our own teams. So every has a unique playing squad. The upcoming season looks exciting for you NFL fans out there and its a great way to expand your knowledge of the game.

I've lived here for 20 + years and these so-called Patriotic Americans are wacko. Their President can't even draw the flag correctly, insults Prisoners of War (John McCain), dodged the draft FIVE TIMES, cuts benefits for veterans, but when an African American athlete takes a knee (and loses his career) for the anthem to protest the disproportionate use of lethal violence against people of colour they throw a hissy fit.

Had it not been for me it would have been 84921.

I set the record.
A pity that the Raiders were so rubbish but the Seahawks fans did make for a more raucous atmosphere at Wembley Stadium than most Tottenham matches I’ve watched there over the past year and a bit.

Went up to the Hilton’s Sky Bar after the game and discovered that the view of the stadium has been blocked by a new high rise; that after I’d just paid nearly £22 for 3 pints, which made the in stadium prices seem reasonable!

Ha, I was pleased to get Goose Island in the stadium, £7.10 a pint though.

My Hawks are on a roll....got the running game going and Mr Wilson's magic to fall back on.

The Raiders though (are once again) pony.

Gotta love Pete Carroll....68 yeard old..sure he's getting younger not older

I didn’t get the feeling they were anything special personally, I was impressed with Baldwin and Wagner but mostly it felt like a training game as the raiders couldn’t move the ball. It felt like it was over at the end of the first quarter.
