Summer 2018 transfer thread

I struggle to see him in a Poch team, however he did also play under Pep who plays a high speed brand of football.

As someone else suggested, selling Sissoko and bringing in Yaya for a season wouldnt be terrible, though really would only be a 1 year stop gap.

My money is on him going to Fulham though

I thought I'd read otherwise but may well have it wrong.

It seems to be mixed reporting:

Clubs can only sign free agents if they have a space in their 25 man squad... If any London teams were to sign them would mean someone missing out. Clubs have to submit their squads by September 1st. Some may have already done so.

from the PL site:

Out of contract - If a player is out of contract prior to the close of the window he is free to approach and sign for a club outside the transfer window, but the club must gain the approval of the Premier League Board.

Can sign. But can't register to play till January

Yes. It looks like its Olympiacos

Though his agent said earlier this week:

"Yaya is fit and desperate to prove he's still the best central midfielder in the Premier League," the agent said.

"Ivory Coast will not be in Russia for the World Cup and next season he will be fit, rested and stronger than ever.

"He's happy to accept a one-year deal to stay in England. And if his club are not satisfied with his performances, he will pay back half his wages, or the club can cancel his contract immediately, with no compensation."
